Symptom: Battery Cable lead pulls out of Anderson terminal crimp.

As part of periodic inventory quality checks, an issue has been identified with the wire crimps in a small percentage of Battery Cables (PN: 16-666766). The crimp in affected units is insufficient and may result in the wire lead coming loose from the crimped terminal.

We highly encourage all customers to tug-test their battery cable leads (and is good practice for all electrical leads).

If you purchased a battery cable from CTR Electronics during the affected time period and it has failed a tug-test, please email your order number and a photo of the failed cable to sales@ctr-electronics.com.
