The WCP GreyT 1 Stage Telescope (.125" Wall) is a heavy duty modular telescoping system designed for FIRST Robotics Competition teams and advanced robotics applications that demand added structural strength. Built around thicker wall tubing, this variant is ideal for mechanisms that experience higher loads while still maintaining smooth, controlled linear motion.
The GreyT Telescope allows teams to build extendable and retractable mechanisms with minimal effort and no CNC machining required. Starting from a single stage, the system can be expanded up to four stages, enabling teams to tailor length, reach, and performance to their specific game strategy. Motion is driven by the Kraken X60 motor, providing the power needed for climbs, elevators, and other demanding linear mechanisms.
An all bearing design eliminates sliders, improving durability and consistency throughout repeated cycles. The telescope can be locked in position using either a ratchet and pawl or the WCP Friction Brake, allowing mechanisms to hold securely without continuous motor power. This makes the .125 inch wall GreyT Telescope well suited for fast climbs, stable elevators, and precision controlled linear motion.
