International Orders
Overview
This policy applies to all orders shipped outside the United States.
By placing an international order, you agree to the terms below, including responsibility for customs duties, taxes, import fees, and any carrier or government charges associated with delivery.
Where required by applicable law, local consumer protection rights may apply and will override this policy where applicable.
Shipping and Delivery
International delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:
- Customs processing
- Government inspections
- Carrier disruptions
- Weather or transportation issues
- Other events outside our control
Tracking updates may pause while a shipment is undergoing customs review.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information and ensuring the destination can legally receive the shipment.
Customs Duties, Taxes, and Fees
International orders may be subject to additional charges, including but not limited to:
- Import duties
- VAT or GST
- Brokerage fees
- Customs processing fees
- Storage or handling fees
- Other carrier or government charges
These charges are not included in the purchase price unless explicitly stated at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer.
CTR Electronics does not alter customs declarations, undervalue goods, or misclassify products for any reason.
Import Compliance and Legal Restrictions
Customers are responsible for ensuring products can be legally imported into their country.
CTR Electronics is not responsible for shipments that are:
- Delayed by customs
- Rejected by customs
- Seized or confiscated by authorities
- Destroyed by customs or regulatory agencies
Orders may be canceled or refused if fulfillment would violate export controls, sanctions laws, or other legal requirements.
Risk of Loss
To the maximum extent permitted by law, risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order is handed to the carrier.
CTR Electronics is not responsible for loss, delay, seizure, or non-delivery after shipment transfer, except where prohibited by law.
Non-Delivery, Returns, and Refunds
Refund eligibility for international orders is determined only after all carrier and customs processes are completed.
Refund processing may be delayed until all shipping, return, brokerage, customs, storage, and related charges are finalized.
If a shipment is:
- Refused
- Returned due to unpaid duties or taxes
- Undeliverable due to address issues
- Held by customs
- Not collected or released by the recipient
Any refund may be reduced by:
- Original shipping charges
- Return shipping costs
- Customs duties and taxes if CTRE is charged
- Brokerage fees if CTRE is charged
- Storage or handling fees if CTRE is charged
- Disposal or carrier charges if CTRE is charged
- Any other costs incurred during processing or return
- Restocking fees
Charges imposed by carriers, customs authorities, government agencies, brokers, or other third parties are non-refundable once incurred, regardless of whether the shipment is delivered, returned, refused, or abandoned.
Abandoned or Unrecoverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, held by customs, or otherwise delayed due to customer action or inaction, including failure to pay duties, taxes, fees, or respond to customs requirements, any refund eligibility will be determined after the shipment's final disposition and all related charges have been assessed.
If the shipment is returned to CTR Electronics, any eligible refund may be reduced by all costs incurred, including original shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, storage fees, handling fees, restocking fees, and other costs associated with recovery and processing of the shipment. See below Warranty and Returns for more information.
If the shipment is abandoned, destroyed, disposed of, confiscated, or otherwise unrecoverable due to customer action or inaction, no refund will be issued.
