Accounts
A CTR Electronics Account is required to make purchases or utilize digital products such as licenses.
We offer two types of accounts for this purpose: Personal and Team.
Personal Account
This is the standard account type intended for use by one person and is created automatically on first login or purchase.
A Personal Account can:
- Make purchases using pay-in-advance methods (such as Credit Cards, PayPal, etc.)
- Use and access digital purchases (such as Phoenix licenses) or applications/services (such as Tuner X)
Personal accounts can apply to become a Team Account at any time.
Team Account
This type of account is intended for school groups, FRC Teams, or other small groups that require more flexible payment options or multiple account users.
Team Accounts can access all features of Personal Accounts, plus:
- Submit Purchase Orders (US-based groups only, subject to a maximum allowed balance)
- Have multiple users, each with their own login credentials

NOTE: Phoenix Pro Licenses are currently NOT shared between Team Account users. Only the individual login that purchased the license(s) will be able to use them in Phoenix Tuner X.
Requirements for an Team Account:
- Accounts will be granted to US-based school districts and FRC Teams as long as there is no history of non-payment or payment delinquency.
- A valid email address for sending invoices must be entered for the "Accounts Payable Email". All invoices will be sent here and the account admin is responsible for making sure this email address is up-to-date.
- Teams that fail to pay or are late to pay PO invoices may have the ability to place Purchase Orders revoked.
- Additional POs may not be placed if the new PO total combined with outstanding (unpaid) invoice balance would exceed the Team's allotted overall credit limit. This limit is $5000 by default but may be adjusted upon request.
