The Talon FX built CTRE's reputation on advanced features like Field-Oriented Control (FOC), jerk-limited motion profiling, and direct sensor fusion. Expanding on that foundation, the standalone Talon FXS™ brings Phoenix Pro software support to external motors. While optimized for our compact Minion brushless motor, the Talon FXS also drives third-party brushed and brushless motors giving you the flexibility to standardize your software stack across any mechanism.
